These pictures document the process of a collaborative painting in a very nice party, with a bunch of creative, fun people.
It took place in a beautiful house that hosted my paintings for an exhibition for this special event.
Along with live music, food and good vibes, I started painting. People were welcome to join me, so the painting changed all the time while children enjoyed the opportunity to play with some real acrylic and canvas.
My inspiration came as a beautiful pregnant woman. Then she took a brush and painted with me.
My three year old daughter painted too while her younger one year old sister tried to take part as well.
At the end of the evening we drew a lottery, so that anyone who wanted to win the painting put some money and a happy winner took it home 🙂
It was an exciting experience for me; I will do it again for sure.

My husband are preparing our yard for the event:
At our yard and house, with food, wine, fun people and an amazing weather. My paintings and prints found their way to new houses, which is always a good thing:)

This is my finished painting, painted with acrylic on canvas, size 60/80. To see this painting in progress click here.
These days it’s almost spring in Israel, I see blossoming flowers and trees all around me. I’m taking my painting students to paint and draw outside and I enjoy every moment. Thanks to my 1.7 year old daughter I spend a lot of time in nature as she insists to get out of the house as much as she can. Blossoming trees are one of my favorite memories from my childhood in St.Petersburg, Russia, after the snow melt down and the sun came out. Here, in Israel, the period between winter and summer is very short, and soon it will be too hot to be outside. I enjoy this time while the air is still fresh, and the vision is clear for photography:)
I’m working on my next paintings, that will be related to the sea, a bit different from the woodland theme that takes my focus for some time. I’m exited to go to the new places of inspiration, still having nature and women as my muses. Stay updated to see what’s coming next! Of course I would love to hear what you think, and will be very happy if you would like to send me inspiration of any kind, related to the sea and to women in art.

Pink and ochre are my bestest friends these days:)
As I’m working on my new painting, I’m thinking about these nature scenes and placing them deep in my mind, to follow me as I live my daily life. The couple resting under the big tree, watching the time go by, remind me of san Pedro and it’s wisdom. Follow up to see the completed painting (even though I kind of like it the way it is now).
